iTunes Music Store compared to iTunes Movie Store

As probably a lot of you out there already know Apple announced a few weeks ago that they are launching iTunes Movie Store. We also wrote about it here at Trendency. Today we found an interesting article at the blog Conflicts of Interest about the differences in Apple’s iTunes Music Store and the iTunes Movie Store.

Except from the content of course, there are a few things that differ as like for example the amount of sources you can choose from or on how many devices you can play your song vs your movie.
So if you are thinking about buying movies from iTunes this information might be useful.
Here are some of the differences according to the article:
| iTunes Movie Store | iTunes Music Store |
| 75 movies from a handful of studios, all of them affiliated with or owned by Disney. | Almost all songs from all major recording companies. (Except from the Beatles who probably still are angry about the Apple brand…) |
| Pricing from $9.99 to $15. | Fixed pricing at 99¢ per song. |
| Movies can be watched on up to three computer. | Songs can be played on up to five computers. |
| You can’t burn a movie to DVD. | You can burn your songs to CD. |
