The Buzz Binn recently wrote about an interesting exemple of the use of a Social Media Release (SMR) to promote a map mash-up. Since their target group is users of social media this makes perfect sense. Some of the most important lessons of this example is to use bullet points instead of regular text, and to incorporate some form of interactivity.
